Fiber optimization is at the very core of our operation. Once sorted and cut to length, a laser scans each log to maximize fiber recovery from every tree. Chantiers Chibougamau utilizes the latest curve-saw technology, which increases the quality of sawn lumber by removing the natural stress that occurs in trees as they grow.
