Glulam in Non-residential Applications
Structural and aesthetics performance of glulam have been shown in various sport facilities, office buildings, and other architectural projects. However, glulam is also well suitable for construction even when aesthetics are of lesser importance, such as in warehouses and industrial buildings. Nordic Lam range of products – curved beams, trusses, cantilevered beams, purlins, decking – offer efficient building solutions for most types of structures.

Software
Visual Design
ADA is a complete integrated analysis/design software dedicated to engineers. The program includes twelve modules working on a single platform to serve all your needs! Analyse and design all types of structures from bridges and culverts to buildings and towers. Use a huge database of materials and shapes (steel, composite, wood, reinforced and pre-stressed concrete), and add your own! The timber frame module optimizes and verifies wood structures, trusses, and design groups using its unique cyclic iterative process, which integrates results from other modules. ADA software also includes design properties and sections of Nordic Lam glued laminated timber products.
Cadwork
Cadwork is a CAD/CAM system specially tailored to the demands of timber/log construction and providing a fully integrated solution for all stages of design and fabrication. A range of features specific to timber construction meets all the requirements of architects, engineers, technicians, timber framers, log builders, panel manufacturers and carpenters.
